Jonathan Maida earned his Bachelor of Science in legal studies from St. John’s University where he graduated with a Major GPA of 4.0. At St. John’s, he was a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society. After graduation, Jonathan worked in the graphic finishing business as a production manager. During that time Jonathan applied and successfully enrolled in Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2010. While enrolled in law school, Jonathan was engaged and played an active role with the student volunteer effort for Hurricane Katrina victims in the Gulf Coast. He spent his final three semesters as an intern with the Legal Aid Society. Immediately after graduation, Jonathan successfully passed the New York and New Jersey Bar, of which he remains an active practicing member today.

Outside of his legal profession, he has coached youth basketball and baseball for a number of years. He enjoys cooking for his family and friends and is an experienced saltwater and freshwater angler. He also enjoys leisurely hiking with his dog and is an advocate for animals. Jonathan draws from a wealth of life experience and understands that each client and situation is unique and should be treated as such.
